Shunda Polyurethane Ltd. is a fast-growing international company that specializes in polyurethane manufacturing and distributing to businesses and we are in search of an experienced and organized Warehouse Worker to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will monitor and control warehouse inventory by overseeing, directing and coordinating the movement of supplies, products and merchandise into and out of the warehouse. *\*Must be available to work occasional Saturday shifts\** *Key Qualifications:* * Valid FULL G License and clean driving record is required. * Minimum 3 years experience using warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc is required. * Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience is mandatory. * Minimum 3 years of experience driving a box truck is required. * Fluent in English, both verbal and written, is a must. * Proficient in MS Word and Excel. * Inventory control experience. * Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure. *Key Responsibilities:* * Oversee, coordinate, and assist with the loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing deliveries. * Allocate and organize storage locations according to requirements. * Sort inventory according to established procedures. * Update and maintain inventory records and database; provide regular reports to management. * Identify potential inventory shortages and communicate with relevant department. * Receive and verify accuracy and quality of incoming inventory; report and resolve any potential discrepancies or issues. * Pick and prepare orders to be shipped and ensure shipping counts match order documents. * Process and provide necessary shipping paperwork to customers. * Coordinate delivery sequence according to orders and balancing weight for appropriate delivery vehicle. * Operate company box trucks to complete deliveries in a safe and efficient manner, using tailgate services when necessary. * Operate warehouse material handling equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, pump trucks. * Process product returns and claims; keep track of warranty products. * Adhere to all safety standards and operating procedures. * Ensure strict adherence to all housekeeping and warehouse standards. * Prepare and ensure all vehicle records are up to date (including vehicle license stickers, vehicles insurance, yellow stickers, emissions inspection report, etc.). * Occasional travel to our BC warehouse required. * Field and general labour work as needed. *Key Skills and Competencies* * Forklift * Box truck * General labourer * Team player is a must * Organizing and planning * Attention to detail and accuracy * Communication * Sense of urgency * Flexible with regard to shift work * Problem-solving *Physical Requirements* * Able to lift and move inventory * Able to bend and stretch * Able to stand for prolonged periods of time * Able to walk distances At Shunda Polyurethane Ltd., we offer the following to make sure you have a rewarding and enjoyable experience: * Competitive salary * Company-paid benefits package for all eligible full-time employees (including medical and vision) * Work-life balance * Career advancement/growth opportunities * Year-round company events * Learning and development opportunities Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and cover letter detailing their relevant experience.
